Overview
Largely invisible to the Western world, a movement of new rural settlements – Family Homestead Settlements – is emerging in Russia and its surrounding countries. Supported by the President of the Russian Federation as well as their own political organization (the “Family Party”, which has no leader), settlers of Family Homesteads are creating a new and beautiful paradigm of human existence, with more happiness and more love, based on the naturally harmonious future described by Anastasia in the “Ringing Cedars of Russia” series of books, written by V. N. Megre. There are currently 508 Family Homestead Settlements.
This course will explore and discuss the “Ringing Cedars of Russia” series of books, Anastasia’s ideas, and their content and significance for the development of Russia, Australia and the world. The central concept of the “Family Homestead” – a self-sufficient plot of one hectare, and a dimension of love – will be defined and analyzed with reference to successful existing settlements. Their beneficial effect on the wellbeing of ourselves, our household, our economy and the nation as a whole will be modelled and observed.
Developments in Australia will be discussed, and images created of a bright future. We will talk about the creation of Family Homestead Settlements in Australia, as well as broader legislative reform according to the purpose of the “Family Party”.
Duration
The course will meet 6 – 8 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays. The Introduction course lasts for two weeks.
Required reading
It is recommended to have read the “Ringing Cedars of Russia” series (10 books) – http://anastasia.ru/en/books
For each session, there will be 3-5 short articles or videos which form the theme of the discussion. You should acquaint yourself with this material before the session in order to be prepared.
Outcomes
The “Ringing Cedars of Russia” movement presents a viable solution to many of the world’s problems, which are not currently being addressed. Family Homesteads improve the environment, reduce pollution, increase health, save government expenditure, produce valuable goods, sequester carbon, bring love into our families, reduce debt, and make our children happy.
Whether or not you agree with all of Anastasia’s claims, the “Ringing Cedars of Russia” movement represents a significant phenomenon impacting Russia and its surrounding countries. Though its scope is currently relatively small, the rate of its adoption in Russia points to a rapid expansion of its underlying principles, including economic, in the next two decades.
Businesspeople, politicians, professionals, creatives and individuals aiming for the best quality life – at least those who are thinking ahead thirty, forty, fifty years – will benefit from acquainting themselves with the facts and reality of this movement, especially the events which will occur in the near future.
Cost
The first introductory mini-course will be free of charge.
“Will this course make me rich quick?”
No, more likely it will make your children rich, and improve your experience of life by the satisfaction of knowing that you are doing something good, and receiving the sincere love of your family as a result.
“Isn’t this a separatist movement?”
No, the Family Homestead model can easily be built in to the modern structure of society, providing goods and services for the benefit of  people and economy, improving the quality of life both in and out of the city. Many residents of Family Homesteads commute or tele-commute to work in nearby towns and cities.
“What does this have to do with Australia?”
The Family Homestead idea is capable of addressing the problems of many countries. It is a low-cost program to improve the environment, reduce government spending, and enhance our experience of life. The Law on Family Homesteads, which provides a hectare of land to any willing family for free, is the primary piece of legislation that will determine the prosperity of nations in the 21st century.
“That sounds great, but it will never work.”
To the contrary, barriers to progress have been successfully disappearing. Since the first settlement was created based on Anastasia’s model in 2001, their number has grown at an accelerating rate. In 2017, the President of the Russian Federation signed the “Far Eastern Hectare” into law, which provides a free hectare of land to any Russian citizen. Since 2015, there has been a conference on “The role and conditions for the development of ‘Family Homesteads’ for the socio-economic transformation of Russia” held at Russia’s main university, Moscow State. In 2017, the candidate for the “Family Party” in Saratov region came second in her inaugural election contest. The precision with which the events outlined in the “Ringing Cedars of Russia” series are coming true warrants a close look at how this occurs, and what is likely to happen in the future.
