Regarding the print titles: the black covered books publisher has registered the “Ringing Cedars” trademark and issued trademark infringement complaints to all major web stores, so our print titles are blocked and removed everywhere now, including Ingram. Unfortunately, I cannot tell when this situation will be resolved.

Book 10 Chapter 34
We’re hardly getting any royalties at all from America. Basically, I don’t get what’s going on over there – they’re making some kind of changes to the books without my permission. The domain name “Ringing Cedars” in English belongs to somebody. And can you imagine – they even have the domain name “Vladimir Megre” there, and a site with that name, and it’s being passed off as my official site. But I have no connection to it whatsoever. Polina’s tried to register the trademark in my name, and they asked her to pay six thousand dollars.
I wouldn’t really care, but I feel bad for the readers. What are they being told on these sites? What products are being sold using those trademarks and logo? How can I sort it out? Where can I find the time to sort things out?
But I decided that in my new book I’ll give the name of a website where people can communicate directly with Polina. And to ask Polina to publish the new book in English, too. But so far I don’t know how to get it published in the English-speaking countries.

Several Internet websites now share ideas that are very similar to those of the main character, Anastasia, in the “Ringing Cedars of Russia” series.
Many of these websites purport to be official and use the name “Vladimir Megre”. They even answer letters in my name. In this regard, I feel it is my duty to inform you, dear readers, of my decision to create an official international website, www.vmegre.com/en/
This will be the only official source for correspondence in all languages from my readers all over the world.

Actually I have to warn you, there are, there have been a couple of books that have been published that talk about Anastasia. There are several websites, supposedly created in the U.S. that are called “Vladimir Megre” and the “Ringing Cedars”, which I have no relation to.
When we asked those people who registered the domains for those sites, they asked for ten thousand dollars to sell the domains to us. There are books published in the U.S. but I don’t get any profits from them because I don’t know who’s publishing them.
Now we’re trying to solve this and figure this out, what’s going on. There is one organisation through which you can receive the most reliable information, that’s the Anastasia Fund. Here is my site. Here you can get all the most reliable information. There is also a group on Facebook. […]
I’m trying to contact these people, I’m trying to understand what to do, because they’re misinforming— they’re supplying false information to you, they— pretty much, they broke the law. The worst thing that these people did, who published the books and opened the sites, they broke that channel of communication, especially within the U.S. and me. So we need to figure out what to do in this situation, and how to find them and talk to them.
So I had an agreement to publish books here. About five years ago, that agreement, that contract, ended. When I came here last time, I bought books that were published here. And these books are still published. Even right now you can walk into a bookstore and buy them.
On the one hand, maybe it’s a good thing that they did, because these books got to you. You actually got to read them. But on the other hand, they broke that channel of communication with the readers in Russia and the readers in the U.S, and the author and the readers in the U.S. So we’ll figure this out.
Experience has shown that the success and fitting perception of the “Ringing Cedars of Russia” series of books directly depends on the strict observation of copyright agreements, whose conditions are aimed at preserving the original source of information.
By not purchasing illegal publications, thereby discouraging harmful ideas that distort the author’s work and mislead the public, together we can change this situation.
