We had an outstanding working Saturday in our settlement on May 1! This warm, pleasant and sunny summer’s day began with the May Day march of all families along the Concord Street to the Main Tent. We walked and praised the families living on their cozy homesteads, sang songs and laughed a lot. A power charge for the whole summer!
And then we had our working bee, where the children also excelled! The children had previously discussed at the meeting where and what plantings they were going to make, markers were put in place, and stock was distributed. The children’s working bee began by planting of acacias at their playground.
Our beautiful, valiant men took up the Saturday’s work, gathered in large numbers, and our beautiful women inspiredly cooked delicious food on woodfire under the singing of birds and funny conversations. A huge thanks to the organizer of our Saturday working bee, Ivan Vorontsov and all our neighbours. Keep it up!
